Stuart has been a qualified Financial Planner since 2001. He has always specialised in pensions, both personal and corporate. Today, he specialises in working with people who want to finish working now or who are approaching retirement. Furthermore, he is also a specialist in advising people with Final Salary and Defined Benefit pensions.
Stuart’s skills, knowledge and experience enables his clients to move smoothly into the next phase of life, making the right decisions to secure their short, medium and long-term future.
Stuart likes to keep fit with a daily morning run as well as a regular gym session.
He is also a keen home cook; you can often find him in the kitchen at the weekend (with a glass of red to hand).
Stuart in the spotlight
My proudest moment as a Financial Planner was: Becoming a Financial Planner and advising my first ever client in 2001.
The things I love most about my job are: Helping clients achieve their retirement goals and meeting new people.
The three words my colleagues would use to describe me are: Thorough, motivated and easy-going (sometimes!).
On an ideal weekend, you can find me: Usually in the park, chasing after my children on their bikes.
The important stuff
All Financial Advisers must be registered with the FCA and therefore appear on their register. You can find Stuart’s entry here.
Furthermore, all advisers must have an up-to-date Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). This shows they are suitably qualified and have carried out the required amount of Continuous Professional Development (CPD). You should be wary of any advisers who refuse to provide copies of their SPS. You can click here to view Stuart’s.
What do our clients have to say?
Transferring out of a Final Salary scheme is unlikely to be in the best interests of most people.
